Mines Rescue Service DC Section
The information contained on this page applies only to the Mines Rescue Service DC section of the IWCSSS. This section was established following a vote by affected members of the Mines Rescue Service section (MRSL) to accept proposed changes to their future benefits. This meant that from 30 March 2017, contributing members of the MRSL section as at 29 March 2017, joined a new trust-based defined contribution section attached to the MRSL section. The MRSL DC section is managed by Legal & General Assurance Society Limited using the L&G Worksave Pension Trust Arrangement. Defined Contribution Governance Statement 2018
The IWCSSS Trustee is required to prepare an annual statement regarding governance of defined contribution funds within the IWCSSS which forms part of the Scheme’s Annual Report & Financial Statements.
